Lamar Consolidated grad Izundu plays in Houston loss
Rosenberg Lamar Consolidated High School graduate Valentine Izundu scored four points in a 63-53 loss by the University of Houston to conference rival UTEP on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at Don Haskins Center in El Paso, the Houston website reported.
Izundu also recorded one steal and three blocks for the Cougars, who are 15-11 on the season and 4-9 in the C-USA.
Houston's next game is 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2 at home against Marshall.
Izundu is a freshman center for University of Houston. He is a 2012 graduate of Rosenberg Lamar Consolidated High School. The Houston native is the son of Stella Izundu.
