Three Needville runners complete ConocoPhillips Rodeo 10K Run

Three Needville athletes completed the ConocoPhillips Rodeo 10K Run on Saturday, Feb. 23 in Houston.

The runners from Needville and their finishing times were Misty Chumchal Sherrill, 34, 52:10; Christina Meuth, 36, 1:15:16; and Gwynne Sury, 39, 1:15:16.

Race organizers said 6,299 runners finished the 10K race, which began and ended in downtown Houston.

Sammy Kiplagat, of Glen Drive, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 30:37, while Mary H. Davies, of Houston, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 32:53.
