Hightower grad Hall contributes to Texas Southern victory
Hightower High School graduate Azalea Hall played for Texas Southern University in a 64-52 win over conference rival Alabama State on Monday, Feb. 25 at Dunn-Oliver Acadome in Montgomery, Ala., Southern's website reported.
The junior forward helped the Tigers improve to 18-9 on the season and 15-1 in the Southwestern Athletic Conference.
Texas Southern's next game is 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28 at home against Southern.
Hall is a 2010 graduate of Hightower High School. She is a junior on the women's basketball team at Texas Southern University.
