Bush grad Davis scores 10 points in Kansas loss
George Bush High School graduate Carolyn Davis scored 10 points in the University of Kansas' 72-70 home loss to conference rival Texas Tech University on Feb. 24, according to Kansas' website.
The senior forward also recorded nine rebounds and one assist for the Jayhawks who are 16-10 on the season and 7-8 in the Big 12 Conference.
Kansas' next game is 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27 on the road against Iowa State University.
A 2009 graduate of George Bush High School in Houston, Carolyn averaged 25 points and 15 rebounds per game as a senior on her way to earning first team all-district honors. She turned in 19 points and 11 rebounds per game for her George Bush High School team as a junior. Carolyn earned four letters in basketball under coach Christina Rankin. She also competed in volleyball, earning three letters.
