Bush grad Davis scores 24 points in Kansas victory
George Bush High School graduate Carolyn Davis scored 24 points for the University of Kansas in an 81-71 home victory against conference rival University of Oklahoma on Feb. 17, according to the University of Kansas' website.
The senior forward also recorded 10 rebounds and two blocks for the Jayhawks who improved to 16-8 on the season and 7-6 in the Big 12 Conference.
Kansas' next game is 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20 on the road against Texas.
A 2009 graduate of George Bush High School in Houston, Davis averaged 25 points and 15 rebounds per game as a senior on her way to earning First Team All-District honors. She turned in 19 points and 11 rebounds per game for her team as a junior. Davis earned four letters in basketball. She also competed in volleyball, earning three letters.
