Hightower grad Dumas contributes to Philander Smith win
Fort Bend Hightower High School graduate Josh Dumas played for Philander Smith College in a 102-80 win over conference rival Dillard University Monday, Jan. 21, in New Orleans, the team's website reported.
Dumas helped the Panthers improve to 14-5 on the season and 5-1 in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference.
Philander Smith's next game is 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 on the road against Fisk University.
Dumas is a sophomore forward for Philander Smith College, Little Rock, Ark. The Houston native is a 2011 graduate of Fort Bend Hightower High School in Missouri City.
