Austin grad Blaskowsky plays in Iowa State loss
Austin High School graduate Nicole Blaskowsky scored three points Sunday, Jan. 20, during Iowa State University's 71-42 loss to conference rival Oklahoma State at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater, Okla., the team's website reported.
Blaskowsky also recorded three rebounds, two assists and a steal for the Cyclones, who are 13-3 on the season and 4-2 in the Big 12 Conference.
Iowa State's next game is 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23 at home against Baylor.
Blaskowsky is a freshman guard for Iowa State University. She is a 2012 graduate of Austin High School in Sugar Land, where she was four-year letter winner for the Bulldogs, four-time all-district selection and scored 21 points. The Sugar Land native is the daughter of Douglas Blaskowsky and Carol Onofrio.
