Where are the lowest gas prices in Fort Bend?

Gas prices in and around Fort Bend were lower than the averages for Houston and the country as a whole, according to data from the price-tracking website GasBuddy.com.

Visitors to the GasBuddy.com website reported rates at 122 gas stations in and around Fort Bend. As of Saturday, Jan. 19, the average price of regular unleaded gas in Fort Bend was $3.13 per gallon. GasBuddy.com listed the Houston average at $3.15, the state average at $3.16 and the nationwide average at $3.27.

The least expensive gas in Fort Bend was reported to be Chevron for a gallon of regular unleaded, which GasBuddy.com contributors logged at 1274 Crabb River Road.

A GasBuddy.com user reported the most expensive gas in the area was $3.29 at Shell, 12725 S. Gessner Road; Shell, 13747 SW Freeway; and Chevron, 13811 SW Freeway.

Local stations included in the survey were: Chevron, 13811 S.W. Freeway; Shell, 13747 S.W. Freeway; Shell, 12725 S. Gessner Road; Chevron, 1274 Crabb River Road; Exxon, 13233 Dairy Ashford Road; Valero, 15550 W. Airport Blvd.; Chevron, 1740 Dulles Ave.; Shell, 1050 Eldridge Road; Shell, 2575 Eldridge Road; and Shell, 1750 Williams Trace Blvd.

GasBuddy.com, owned by GasBuddy Organization Inc., offers local gas pricing information to its visitors. The prices, based on the cost of regular unleaded gas, are submitted by the site's contributors.
