Fort Bend Hightower grad Matthew scores 4 points in Stephen F. Austin State victory
Fort Bend Hightower High School graduate Brittney Matthew scored four points in Stephen F. Austin State's 80-38 home win over conference rival Southeastern Louisiana University on Jan. 17, according to Stephen F. Austin State's website.
The sophomore guard also recorded one rebound, two assists and one steal for the Jacks, who improved to 7-10 on the season and 2-4 in the Southland Conference.
Stephen F. Austin State's next game is 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19 at home against Nicholls State University.
Matthew is a 2011 graduate of Fort Bend Hightower High School in Missouri City where she was MVP. She is a biomedical sciences major from Houston.
