Methodist Sugar Land Hospital to hold caregiving seminars
The Methodist Sugar Land Hospital will hold a set of free Powerful Tools for Caregivers seminars from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Mondays, March 4 through April 8 at the Sweetwater Pavilion Chapel in the hospital.
According to a hospital press release, the seminar consists of six classes focusing on different tools that will help guide caregivers. Attendees will learn about setting goals, staying motivated and dealing with feelings of anger, guilt and depression. The seminars are designed to give attendees the confidence and the ability to cope with the demands of caregiving.
Registration is required for the seminars.
The Methodist Sugar Land Hospital was established in 1998 as a branch of The Methodist Hospital in Texas Medical Center. It serves Fort Bend and the surrounding communities. The hospital has 18 operating rooms, 243 beds and has been designed as a Center of Excellence for cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, women's services, neurosciences and urology. Fortune magazine has named the hospital one of the top 100 best companies to work for in the country.
