Employee of the year announced in Sugar Land

Cathy Halka, Sugar Land city planner, was named Employee of the Year at the 2012 Employee Banquet.

Sugar Land City Manager Allen Bogard recently named Sugar Land Senior Planner Cathy Halka as employee of the yeard during the 2012 Employee Banquet.

According to a city release "Halka successfully led updates on the Comprehensive Plan and Pedestrian and Bike Master Plan for the city. The Comprehensive Plan and Pedestrian and Bike Master Plan provide a blueprint for the future growth, mobility and development of the city. Bogard said her strong dedication and proactive attitude makes her an exemplary example of standards reflected in Sugar Land's 'champion' employees."
