Fort Bend athletes in action: Women's basketball
Carolyn Davis, a graduate of Bush High School, is a senior forward for the University of Kansas women's basketball team.

About Davis: A 2009 graduate of George Bush High School in Houston, Texas, Davis averaged 25 points and 15 rebounds per game as a senior on her way to earning First Team All-District honors. She averaged 19 points and 11 rebounds per game for her George Bush High School team as a junior. Davis earned four letters in basketball, with two coming at GBHS under Christina Rankin. She also competed in volleyball, earning three letters. Davis is the daughter of Beatrice Johnson.
