Four Sugar Land runners complete 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Half Marathon

Four Sugar Land athletes completed the 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Half Marathon on Sunday, Dec. 9 in Dallas.

The runners from Sugar Land and their finishing times were Rachel McGee, 2:12:16; Sara Horst, 2:14:58; Kristy Maue, 2:15:57; and David Meyer, 2:36:35.

Race organizers said 9,878 runners finished the 13.1-mile race, which began and ended in Downtown Dallas.

Andrew Letherby, of Austin, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 1:09:45, while Ashley Johnson, of Dallas, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 1:21:37.
