Two Richmond runners complete 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Marathon
Two Richmond athletes completed the 2012 MetroPCS Dallas Marathon on Sunday, Dec. 9 in Dallas.
Monika Welborn crossed the finish line in 4:57:03 and Cindy Burris finished in 5:53:56.
Race organizers said 4,874 runners finished the 26.2 mile race, which began and ended at Downtown Dallas.
Vladimir Safranov of Russia was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 2:19:38, while Nastassia Padalinskaya of Belarus was the winner in the women's category with a time of 2:43:56.
