Austin grad Blaskowsky scores eight points in Iowa State loss to Baylor
Nicole Blaskowsky, a graduate of Austin High School, is a freshman guard for the Iowa State University women's basketball team.
Austin High School graduate Nicole Blaskowsky contributed eight points for Iowa State in a 67-39 loss against conference rival Baylor on Wednesday, Jan. 9 in Waco, Iowa State's website reported.
The freshman guard also recorded two rebounds and two steals for the Cyclones, who are 11-2 on the season and 2-1 in conference.
Iowa State's next game is 6 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12 against Texas Christian University.
Blaskowsky is a 2012 graduate of Austin High School in Sugar Land, where she was a four-year letter winner for the Bulldogs, four-time all-district selection and scored 21 points per game. The Sugar Land native is the daughter of Douglas Blaskowsky and Carol Onofrio.
