Fort Bend Bush High School graduate Carolyn Davis poured in 14 points to lead all Kansas scorers in a 76-59 victory over conference rival Oklahoma State Tuesday, Jan. 8, at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater, Okla.

The Kansas website reported the senior forward also recorded three rebounds, an assist, one steal and a block for the Jayhawks, who improved to 12-2 on the season and 3-0 in the Big 12 Conference.

The next Kansas game is at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13 at home against Baylor.

A 2009 graduate of George Bush High School in Houston, Texas, Davis averaged 25 points and 15 rebounds per game as a senior on her way to earning First Team All-District honors. She turned in 19 points and 11 rebounds per game for her George Bush High School team as a junior. Davis earned four letters in basketball, with two coming at GBHS under Christina Rankin. She also competed in volleyball, earning three letters. Davis is the daughter of Beatrice Johnson.
