Hightower grad Dumas contributes to Philander Smith victory
Fort Bend Hightower High School graduate Josh Dumas played for Philander Smith College in its 84-81 win at home over conference rival Tougaloo College on Monday, Jan. 7, at Little Rock, Ark., the team's website reported.
Dumas grabbed a rebound and also recorded one assist for the Panthers, who improved to 11-4 on the season and 2-0 in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference.
Philander Smith College's next game is at 5 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12 on the road against Edward Waters.
Dumas is a sophomore forward for Philander Smith College. The Houston native is a 2011 graduate of Fort Bend Hightower High School in Missouri City.
