1-man band plans to open 5-star hotel

Magdall plays four instruments and says music inspires him and keeps him going when he gas lots of homework. An asthmatic, Magdall hopes to open an international hotel renowned for its air quality when he gets older. He lists God, his family and music among the things he absolutely could not live without.

FAVORITE THING TO DO AFTER SCHOOL: "I play basketball with my brother because it gives us something to do together, and it is something that we both enjoy. I also enjoy my music because it calms me."
FAVORITE BOOKS: "My favorite books would be the 'Diary of a Wimpy Kid' series (by Jeff Kinney) ... It is a fun, enjoyable read that I have enjoyed since the second grade."
FAVORITE MOVIES: "My favorite movies are the 'Batman' trilogy. I like these movies because, as a child, superheroes always interested me, and Batman was my favorite. I was Batman for Halloween three different times."
FAVORITE MUSIC GENRES: "I like classic rock because it has real, unmodified guitar and piano, and I can jam along to it. I also like the melodies in the songs. I also like gospel music because it rests my soul, and it makes me feel happy inside."
