Fort Bend Bush grad Ezeh plays in Texas State loss
Houston native Ashley Ezeh contributed 15 points in Texas State University's 61-58 home loss to conference rival New Mexico State on Saturday, Jan. 5, Texas State's website reported.
The junior also recorded nine rebounds and two assists for the Bobcats, who are 6-8 on the season and 0-4 in the Western Athletic Conference.
Texas State's next game is at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10 on the road against Louisiana Tech University.
Ezeh is a 2010 graduate of Bush High School, where she played for coach Christina Rankin.
Houston Prep Report ranked her one of the top 10 players in the Houston area coming out of high school, while FCP Report named her one of the top 100 players in Texas.
She is the daughter of Boniface and Mercy Ezeh.
