Austin High grad Blaskowsky contributes to Iowa State victory
Sugar Land native Nicole Blaskowsky contributed seven points in Iowa State University's 58-54 win over conference rival Texas Tech on Saturday, Jan. 5, the school's website reported.
The freshman guard also recorded five rebounds, two assists and one steal for the Cyclones, who improved to 11-1 on the season and 2-0 in the Big 12 Conference.
Iowa State's next game is at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 on the road against Baylor University.
Blaskowsky is a 2012 graduate of Austin High School in Sugar Land, where she scored 21 points, was a four-year letter winner for the Bulldogs and four-time all-district selection.
She is the daughter of Douglas Blaskowsky and Carol Onofrio.
