Hightower grad Hall contributes to Texas Southern victory

Hightower High School graduate Azalea Hall played for Texas Southern in its 61-45 win over Alcorn State Friday, Jan. 4, at Alcorn, Miss., the team's website reported.

With the win, the Tigers improved to 4-9 on the season.

Texas Southern's next game is 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6 on the road against Prairie View A&M.

Hall is a 2010 graduate of Hightower High School. She is a junior on the women's basketball team at Texas Southern University.
