Where are the lowest gas prices in Fort Bend?

Gas prices in and around Fort Bend were lower than the averages for Houston and the country as a whole, according to data from the price-tracking website GasBuddy.com.

Visitors to the GasBuddy.com website reported rates at 108 gas stations in and around Fort Bend, as of Friday, Jan. 4. The average price of regular unleaded gas in Fort Bend is $3.13 per gallon. GasBuddy.com listed the Houston average at $3.16, the state average at $3.15 and the nationwide average at $3.27.

The least expensive gas in Fort Bend was reported to be $2.99 for a gallon of regular unleaded, which GasBuddy.com contributors logged at Kroger, 24401 Brazos Town Crossing; Stripes, 550 FM -2977; Valero, 8318 state Highway 6; and Murphy Express, 6414 state Highway 6.

A GasBuddy.com user reported the most expensive gas in the area was $3.34 at Shell, 2465 FM -1092.

GasBuddy.com, owned by GasBuddy Organization Inc., offers local gas pricing information to its visitors. The prices, based on the cost of regular unleaded gas, are submitted by the site's contributors. The site's stated mission is "to serve the public by providing a real time gas prices forum so that consumers can have access to the information necessary to locate the lowest fuel prices available."
