Bush grad Ezeh scores 8 points in Texas State loss to Denver
Ashley Ezeh, a graduate of Bush High School, is a junior on the Texas State University women's basketball team.
Bush High School graduate Ashley Ezeh contributed eight points in Texas State's 73-70 home loss to conference rival Denver on Thursday, Jan. 3 at Strahan Coliseum in San Marcos, Texas State's website reported.
The Texas State University junior also recorded six rebounds and one assist for the Bobcats, who are 6-7 on the season and 0-3 in the Western Athletic Conference.
Texas State's next game is 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at home against New Mexico State.
Ezeh, a 6-foot junior for Texas State University, is a 2010 graduate of Bush High School. There she played for coach Christina Rankin and was ranked one of the top 10 players in the Houston area coming out of high school by Houston Prep Report, and one of the top 100 players in Texas by the FCP Report. The Houston native graduated cum laude and is the daughter of Boniface and Mercy Ezeh.
