George Memorial Library to offer free computer classes
The George Memorial Library will hold several introductory computer classes in January.
"The classes will consist of a hands-on introduction to basic skills," according to a library press release.
The library will offer Microsoft Word Survival Basics at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, Hands-On Internet at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17 and Microsoft Excel Survival Basics at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23. The Microsoft classes will use the 2007 edition of the respective programs.
The free classes will be held in the library's computer lab at 1001 Golfview Drive, Richmond. Registration is required.
