Bush grad Ezeh plays in Texas State loss
Fort Bend Bush High School graduate Ashley Ezeh scored 12 points but Texas State lost 82-69 to conference rival Utah State Monday, Dec. 31, at Dee Glen Smith Spectrum in Logan, the Texas State website reported.
The Texas State forward also recorded nine rebounds, a steal and one block for the Bobcats, who are 6-6 on the season and 0-2 in the Western Athletic Conference.
Texas State's next game is 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 3 at home against University of Denver.
Ezeh, a 6-foot junior, is a 2010 graduate of Bush High School. There she played for coach Christina Rankin and was ranked one of the top 10 players in the Houston area coming out of high school by Houston Prep Report, and one of the top 100 players in Texas by the FCP Report. The Houston native graduated Cum Laude and is the daughter of Boniface and Mercy Ezeh.
