Austin High School invited to participate in new Advanced Placement program
Austin High School was invited to participate in the new Advanced Placement STEM Access program, is was recently announced.
According to the press release, "Austin High School has qualified to participate in the new AP STEM Access program launched by Google, DonorsChoose.org and the College Board. This initiative has been created to increase the number of traditionally underrepresented minority and female high school students who participate in AP courses in STEMĀ disciplines. AHS was identified based on PSAT/NMSQT data. Google has awarded a $5 million grant to DonorsChoose.org to enable U.S. public high schools to start 500 new AP math and science courses."
