Visitors to the gasbuddy.com website reported rates at 102 gas stations in and around Fort Bend as of Saturday, Dec. 29. The average price of regular unleaded gas in Fort Bend is $3.08 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com listed the Houston average at $3.10, the state average at $3.09 and the nationwide average at $3.27.

The least expensive gas in Fort Bend was reported to be $2.95 for a gallon of regular unleaded, which gasbuddy.com contributors logged at Shell, 8545 FM -1464; and Shell, 1385 E. FM -359 Near Plantation Dri.

A gasbuddy.com user reported the most expensive gas in the area was $3.34 at Shell, 2465 FM -1092.
