Fort Bend Theatre to present 'John Lennon and Me' Jan. 5

Fort Bend Theatre's Action Reaction Troupe will perform "John Lennon and Me" at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013.

According to a theater press release, the play "is the story of Stella, aka Star, a spunky teenager who is a die-hard John Lennon fan. She has cystic fibrosis and spends much of her time in Heart House, a hospital for chronically ill children. She gets a roommate named Courtney, a pretty cheerleader who doesn't seem to be very sick."

Tickets are $9.
