Two Sugar Land runners finish Knock Out Crohn's 5K
Two athletes from Sugar Land completed the Knock Out Crohn's 5K Sunday, Dec. 9, in Houston.
Christopher Higgins, 43, crossed the finish line in 32:29, and Erica Higgins, 34, finished in 32:29.
Race organizers said 94 runners finished the 5K race, which began and ended at Bear Creek Park.
Anthony Flores, of Wharton, won the race and the men's division with a finishing time of 17:55. Sara St. Vincent won the women's division in 24:28.
