Hightower grad Moreland leads Oregon State to victory
Hightower High School graduate Eric Moreland scored a game-high 20 points to lead Oregon State to an 86-79 victory over San Diego at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Saturday, Dec. 22, the OSU website reported.
Oregon State's next game is 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29 at home against Towson.
Moreland graduated from Hightower High School playing basketball for coach David Green in 2007-2010. At Hightower, Moreland played in the Houston all-star game in 2009 while also averaging 10 points, eight rebounds, and two blocks. He is the son of Louis and Verlarne Moreland. Undecided major from Missouri City.
