Hightower grad Ford contributes to Texas State victory
Hightower High School graduate Diamond Ford played for Texas State in its 73-37 win at home over Texas-Pan American Saturday, Dec. 22, at Daniel-Meyer Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas State's website reported.
Texas State's next game is 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29 at home against Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
Ford, a 5-foot-9 senior guard for Texas State, is a 2009 graduate of Hightower High School. She earned TABC All-State and TABC All-Star honors for coach Deb Mize during her senior year. The Houston native is the daughter of Wilbert Ford and Monique Nichols.
