Mission West Elementary School hosts Career Day
Mission West Elementary School held its annual Career Day for students Wednesday, Dec. 19.
More than 20 people visited the school's second to fifth-grade students for the day and spoke for 20-minute sessions.
According to a press release from Mission West Elementary School, "The speakers represented law enforcement, engineering, U.S. military, banking, real estate, nutrition and other fields. They shared their educational and professional backgrounds, offered advice, and encouraged students to work hard and do well in school."
Mission West Elementary School is at 7325 Clodine-Reddick Road, Houston.
Houston's Mission West Elementary School serves grades pre-K to fifth in the Fort Bend Independent School District. Based on its state test results, it has received a Great Schools Rating of 4 out of 10.
