Fort Bend Austin grad Manuel plays in SMU loss
Ryan Manuel, Southern Methodist University
Fort Bend Austin High School graduate Ryan Manuel played for Southern Methodist University in its 72-50 loss to University of Rhode Island Saturday, Dec. 15, in Kingston, R.I., according to the SMU website.
The sophomore guard and the Mustangs are 8-2 on the season. SMU's next game is 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18 at Utah.
Manuel is a sophomore guard for Southern Methodist University. He is a 2011 graduate of Fort Bend Austin in Sugar Land. Manuel is from Houston and is the son of Marc and Sharron Manuel.
