Elkins grad Cannon contributes to Manhattanville victory
Elkins High School graduate Mark Cannon played for Manhattanville College in an 88-70 win over D'Youville Saturday, Dec. 15 at Clark Gym in Rochester, N.Y., according to Manhattanville's website.
The freshman guard helped the Valiants improve to 6-4 on the season. Manhattanville College's next game is 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29 against Frostburg State.
Cannon played at Fort Bend Elkins in 2006-2010. In the 2009-2010 season, he was named a Second-Team All-District performer. Cannon helped the team to the regional semifinals in both 2008 and 2009. He is the son of Sonja Dudley.
