Elkins grad Jean plays in Schreiner loss
Benjamin Jean, Schreiner University
Elkins High School graduate Benjamin Jean played for Schreiner University in a 71-65 homecourt loss to conference opponent LeTourneau University Friday, Dec. 14, at Edington Gymnasium in Kerrville, the Schreiner website reported.
The Mountaineers fell to 4-5 on the season with the loss. They are 2-3 in the American Southwest Conference.
Schreiner's next game is 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18 at Texas Lutheran.
Jean is a freshman basketball player for Schreiner. He is a 2012 graduate of Elkins High School in Missouri City. Jean is from Missouri City.
