Riverstone donates to Fort Bend Education Foundation

Riverstone has donated $5,000 to Fort Bend Education Foundation as the result of the community's Favorite Resident contest.
According to a press release from Riverstone, "Through the online contest, the public was invited to select one of five local celebrities as Riverstone's Favorite Resident. Each participant designated a favorite charity, with the winner's charity receiving $5,000. After thousands of votes were tallied, Rehan Siddiqi, president and chief executive officer of Hum Tum South Asian Radio, was crowned Riverstone's 'Favorite Resident.' His charity of choice was the Fort Bend Education Foundation."
The foundation plans to use the funds for the Grants to Teachers and School Site Grants. The announcement was made Friday, Dec. 7.
