Boy Scout creates Grove Nature Trail

Fort Bend Christian Academy’s Nathan Taylor constructed the Grove Nature Trail for his school as part of a Boy Scout project.

Superintendent Norm Slosted said, “The nature trail is such a testimony to Nathan’s dedication to excellence. Nathan continued to refine and expand his original plan,” he continued, “and the result is a beautiful nature retreat.

Science teachers use it extensively for environmental science exploration withour elementary students.”

ACCOMPLISHMENTS: “I constructed The Grove Nature Trail, an Eagle Scout Project (Boy Scout Troop 1248) for Fort Bend Christian Academy. The trail is a further development of the wooded area behind the school and meant as an extension of the existing amphitheater outdoor classroom venue for science and visual arts classes.”
