Three Sugar Land runners complete GE Run Thru the Woods (3-Mile Run)

Three athletes from Sugar Land completed the GE Run Thru the Woods (3-Mile Run) on Nov. 22 in The Woodlands.

The runners from Sugar Land and their finishing times were Elena Aguirre, 13, 32:41; Iker Aguirre, 10, 38:59; and Luz Uranga, 38, 38:59.

According to race organizers, a total of 1,222 runners finished the 3-mile race, which began and ended at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion.

Ronnie Delzer, of Magnolia, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 15:54, while Kara Sanstrom, of Cypress, was the winner in the women's category finishing with a time of 19:05.
