Master Gardener Tom LeRoy to give lecture Jan. 17
The Fort Bend Master Gardeners will offer a program by Tom LeRoy on Thursday, Jan. 17 at Bud O'Shieles Community Center in Rosenberg.
The event will run from 7-9 p.m.
According to a press release from the Fort Bend Master Gardeners, the public is invited to "join the Fort Bend Master Gardeners, sponsored by Texas AgriLife Extension Service, to hear Tom LeRoy, recently retired from Texas AgriLife Extension Service as horticulture agent, Montgomery County, where he started the first Master Gardener program in Texas in 1979. He will speak about selecting and growing fruit and citrus for this region and will include some of the varieties the Fort Bend Master Gardeners will be selling at their fruit tree sale on Jan. 26."
The event will be held at Bud O'Shieles Community Center, 1330 Band Road, Rosenberg.
