Austin grad Blaskowsky contributes to Iowa State's victory over Fairfield
Nicole Blaskowsky, a graduate of Austin High School, is a freshman guard for the Iowa State University women's basketball team.
Austin High School graduate Nicole Blaskowsky contributed six points in Iowa State University's 60-43 home win against Fairfield on Sunday, Dec. 9 at Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa.
The Iowa State University freshman guard also recorded five rebounds and an assist for the Cyclones, who improved to 6-1 on the season, according to Iowa State University's website.
Iowa State University's next game is at 7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17 on the road against Northern Iowa.
Blaskowsky is a 2012 graduate of Austin High School in Sugar Land, where she was a four-year letter winner for the Bulldogs and a four-time all-district selection. The Sugar Land native is the daughter of Douglas Blaskowsky and Carol Onofrio.
