Austin grad Walter contributes to Colorado School of Mines victory over Black Hills State
Ry Walter, a graduate of Austin High School, is a freshman guard for the Colorado School of Mines men's basketball team.
Austin High School graduate Ry Walter contributed two points in the Colorado School of Mines' 69-64 home win against conference opponent Black Hills State University on Saturday, Dec. 8 at Lockridge Arena in Golden, Colo.
The freshman guard helped the Mines improve to 6-2 on the season and 3-1 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, according to the Colorado School of Mines' website.
The Colorado School of Mines' next game is at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15 on the road against Colorado Christian University.
Walter, a 2012 graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School, is a freshman guard for Colorado School of Mines. He is from Sugar Land.
