Dulles grad Mbamalu scores 14 in University of Louisiana at Lafayette loss
Dulles High School graduate Bryant Mbamalu scored 14 points for the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in a 77-72 loss to McNeese State University on Dec. 8 at Burton Coliseum in Lake Charles, according to University of Louisiana at Lafayette's website.
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette junior forward also recorded three rebounds for the Ragin Cajuns, who fell to 3-6 on the season.
University of Louisiana at Lafayette's next game is 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11 at home against Lamar University.
Mbamalu played from 2006-10 at Dulles, where he was named first team all-district and first team all-region. He was also the second leading scorer in the district. Mbamalu, the son of Helen Mbamalu, is a political science major.
