Lamar Consolidated grad Price plays in East Central loss
Lamar Consolidated High School graduate Alycea Price scored 12 points, but her East Central University women's basketball team lost 74-72 to conference opponent Ouachita Baptist Thursday, Nov. 29, at Bill Vining Arena in Arkadelphia, Ark., according to East Central's website.
Price also recorded four rebounds, two assists and two steals for the Tigers, who are 3-2 on the season and 0-1 in the GAC.
Price is a junior forward for East Central, and a 2010 graduate of Rosenberg Lamar Consolidated. The psychology major from Houston is the daughter of Marcell and Natalie Price.
