These women's basketball players, both with Fort Bend high school ties, have scheduled action this week:
Carolyn Davis, University of Kansas
High school: Fort Bend Bush High School
This week: Sunday, Dec. 2, vs. University of Minnesota, Twin Cities
About Davis: A 2009 graduate of George Bush High School in Houston, Texas, Carolyn Averaged 25 points and 15 rebounds per game as a senior on her way to earning First Team All-District honors. She turned in 19 points and 11 rebounds per game for her George Bush High School team as a junior. Carolyn earned four letters in basketball, with two coming at GBHS under Christina Rankin. She also competed in volleyball, earning three letters. Carolyn is the daughter of Beatrice Johnson.
Donielle Breaux, Texas Christian University
Position: Guard
High school: Elkins High School
This week: Sunday, Dec. 2, vs. University of Houston
About Breaux: Breaux is a sophomore guard for Texas Christian University. The Missouri City native is a 2011 graduate of Fort Bend Elkins High School, where she was district offensive player of the year.
