Travis grad Watson plays in Grambling State loss
Travis High School graduate Alexis Watson played for Grambling State University in a 101-47 loss to the University of Kansas Wednesday, Nov. 28 at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence, Kan., according to Grambling's website.
The Tigers are still seeking their first win after opening the season with six consecutive losses.
Watson, a 5-foot-6 senior guard for Grambling, is a 2009 graduate of Travis High School. The Katy native is the daughter of Alonzo Watson and is a business management major.
