Fort Bend Bush grad Gatlin plays in Sam Houston State University loss
Fort Bend Bush High School graduate DeMarcus Gatlin played for Sam Houston State University in a 65-37 loss at home against the University of Texas at Austin on Nov. 27 at the Erwin Center in Austin.
The junior guard recorded two rebounds and a steal for the Bearkats, who are 3-4 on the season.
Sam Houston State University's next game is 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1 at home against Northern Arizona.
Gatlin is a Houston native and a 2010 graduate of Bush High School, where he was an All-District selection for coach Ronnie Courtney.
