Two Sugar Land runners complete Life Time Chicago Turkey Day 5K
Two athletes from Sugar Land completed the Life Time Chicago Turkey Day 5K on Nov. 22 in Chicago.
The runners from Sugar Land and their finishing times were Greg Hamre, 24, who finished in 22:03, and Neeti Kothare, 24, who crossed the finish line in 37:08.
According to Life Time Chicago Turkey Day 5K organizers, a total of 6,449 runners finished the 5K race, which was held at Lincoln Park.
Brent Alexander, of Chicago, was the men's overall winner with a time of 16:14, while Melissa Hardesty, also of Chicago, was the winner in the women's category with 18:34.
