Volleyball star hopes to be coach one day
Stafford High senior Becca Munoz has played sports her whole life – from the time she was 3 years old and was kicking around a soccer ball, to her last year in high school where she dominates on the volleyball court. Munoz says she is both motivated and inspired by her mom, who, along with her family, supports Munoz’s academic and athletic careers. She hopes to one day be a teacher and a coach.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Second team all-district and Most Valuable Player in volleyball FONDEST HIGH SCHOOL MEMORY: “On the bus talking and laughing with my teammates.” FAVORITE ATHLETIC MOVIE: “Gotta Kick It Up” PRE-GAME TRADITION: Prayer WORST INJURY: Torn ligaments in her ankle BEST PLAY: “Setting to a hitter and they hit the ball so hard (that) you hear a big boom.” ATHLETE YOU LOOK UP TO: Owen Daniels from the Texans ATHLETIC LIFE LESSON: “I like working as a team to accomplish one goal.
