Bush grad Ezeh leads Texas State to win
Fort Bend Bush High School graduate Ashley Ezeh scored 26 points to lead Texas State to a 91-80 home victory over TCU, according to the Texas State.
The game was played Sunday, Nov. 25 at Strahan Coliseum in San Marcos.
Ezeh also recorded 11 rebounds, a steal and two blocks for the Bobcats, who improved to 3-1 on the season.
Texas State's next game is 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28 at Oklahoma State.
Ezeh, a 6-foot junior forward for Texas State, is a 2010 graduate of Bush High School, where she played for coach Christina Rankin. She was ranked one of the top 10 players in the Houston area coming out of high school by Houston Prep Report, and one of the top 100 players in Texas by the FCP Report. The Houston native graduated cum laude and is the daughter of Boniface and Mercy Ezeh.
