Austin grad Walter contributes to Colorado-Mines win
Fort Bend Austin High School graduate Ry Walter scored five points in Colorado School of Mines' 101-52 home-court win over Haskell Indian Nations University Saturday, Nov. 24 at Lockridge Arena in Golden, Colo., according to Mines' website.
Walter also recorded two rebounds and an assist for the Ore Diggers, who improved to 3-1 on the season.
The next game for Colorado School of Mines is at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30 at Western New Mexico.
Walter, a 2012 graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School in Austin, is a freshman guard for Colorado School of Mines. He is from Sugar Land.
